HMD Global has reportedly started rolling out a new update to the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphones. The new update brings optimization and improvements along with latest security patch.
The Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus update comes with version number V3.54E. The update for Nokia 7 Plus measures 307MB, while the update for Nokia 6.1 Plus is about 281MB in size, reports Nokiamob.
The official changelog reveals that the update for the devices bring latest June 2019 Security patch. Th update also improves the system stability for both the devices. Furthermore, it also brings some user interface enhancements. One can check for the update by going to Settings >System >System update.
Previously, HMD introduced Nokia 6.1 Plus 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant in February this year for Rs 18,499. The smartphone then received a price cut of Rs 1,500 and now it retails at Rs 16,999.
Meanwhile, the company rolled out stable Android 9.0 Pie update for Nokia 7 Plus. After the update, the Nokia 7 Plus gets advanced in machine learning and AI features, such as Adaptive Battery and App Actions, ensure smarter resourcing of power and processing and accelerate smartphone functionality.
Recollecting some key specifications, the Nokia 7 Plus comes loaded with a 6.0-inch Full HD+ display (2160 x 1080 pixels resolution). The device gets its power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.
Nokia 6.1 Plus features a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with a screen Resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Processor along with Adreno 509 GPU.
