Nikon launched Coolpix W300, claims to be freeze and shock proof

It has borrowed a few features from its processor AW130 that was launched in 2015.

Nikon has unveiled Coolpix W300 today. The international pricing of the camera is $395 which translates roughly to Rs 26,000. We have requested the company to share the Indian pricing, but at the time of filling the story, we didn’t get the response.

Nikon claims, Coolpix W300 is Waterproof down to 30m and can withstanding shock from falls as high as 2.4m. It is also freeze-proof down to -10°C/14°F and dust-proof. The highlight of this camera is that it supports UHD movie recording capability. It has borrowed a few features, like 16-megapixel CMOS sensor,3-inch as well as built-in NFC,wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom, WiFi and GPS, from its AW130 that was launched in 2015.
