Netgear, one of the major players in home networking and smart home security products, today introduced R6080 and R6120 – two Dual Band WiFi routers for the home that the company claims deliversspeeds up to 700 Mbps and 900 Mbpsrespectively. The company claims that both the routers provide up to 3X improved speed.
The Netgear R6080 is priced at Rs 2,700 and R6120 will be available for Rs 3,200. They can be purchased at select retail stores and ecommerce sites.R6080 and R6120 come with a couple of interesting features. The dual band WiFi provides two separate WiFi networks one is of 2.4 GHz and another for 50 GHz, which is better for media streaming and online games.
Netgear routers are easily accessible via Genie App which allows oneto track internet data usage, real time network mapping and one can even allow or block access to your network using it.
The R6120 comes with another feature- READYSHARE USB access. It allows users to find photos, videos, and music stored on a shared USB hard drive to enjoy them on DLNA TV or share them with others wirelessly.
