After Airtel announced new Roaming tariffs, Idea Cellular has now reduced incoming rates while on roaming from Rs 1 to 75 paise per minute.
It has also introduced two new roaming packs – priced between Rs 230-240 and Rs 35-40 depending on the circle.
In the first pack, which is priced between Rs 230-240, users will get free incoming calls. Moreover, they can make outgoing calls and send messages as per their home circle tariffs.
There other Rs 35-40 (depending on circle) pack offers same rates for local, STD, ISD calls and SMS, as the user pays while in the home circle. But user needs to pay for incoming calls at the rate of 75 paise per minute, which is the new reduced rate for incoming while roaming on Idea Cellular without any pack.
Vodafone is also likely to make announcement soon regarding its roaming plans and so are others. However players like Aircel and RCom have already been offering roaming packs with free national roaming.
