Motorola has opened up a new Moto Hub in Chennai. It is the 17th hub set up by the company in India and aims to strengthen its offline retail presence. As an inaugural offer in the Chennai hub, Motorola is offering 50 percent off on Motorola accessories purchased along with a Motorola smartphone.
Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India said, “Retail will continue to be an important part of our strategy as we usher into the new year and we will continue to expand and invest in the same to ensure that we are available wherever our customers want us.”
The motor hub store will house the entire portfolio of Motorola devices, including the online exclusives like Moto e4+, Moto C+, Moto X4. As per the latest IDCreport, Motorola has been ranked as the third largest smartphone player in the country with nine percent market share of the total shipments in the July-September 2017 quarter.
