Motorola Razr Maxx, which was unveiled in January this year, is now up for pre-orders in India. Infibeam, an online shopping store, has started taking pre orders of the smartphone. Interested users can pay an upfront amount of Rs 31,999 for the full settlement for the device’s price as pre order.
Although Motorola is yet to confirm the availability of the handset, the device will be made available for the buyers following 24th of this month.
The new Razr Maxx is basically an improved version of Motorola Razr XT910. Both these smartphones come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and can be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.
The Motorola Razr Maxx has been constructed using Kevlar plastics while its display is built using Corning Gorilla Glass that gives it the necessary strength and sturdiness. The Droid Razr Maxx features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced touchscreen display with qHD (960×540) pixel resolution. This handset is just 9mm thin and packs a 3300mAh battery that offers battery life of 21 hours.
Under the Kevlar built chassis lies a dual-core 1.2 GHz mobile Processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB memory out of which only 11.5 GB is available to the user. Motorola will also include a 16 GB memory card in the package for the Razr Max. Droid Razr Maxx comes with an 8 Megapixel camera at the back and 1.3 megapixel camera in the front for superior imaging and video prowess.
