Moto M launching in India today

Moto M has already been launched in China earlier this month for CNY 1,999.

Lenovo is all set to launch its new Moto series smartphone, the Moto M in India today. The company has already sent out the invites for the launch. E-Commerce site Flipkart will be selling Moto M exclusively as the company is already teasing the smartphone unveiling on December 13 on its website. Recently, Flipkart via its Twitter handle teased the launch of Moto M.

The Moto M was first unveiled at an event in China earlier this month at a price tag of CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 19,600) in Gold and Silver colour variants.

Moto M is a mid-range smartphone from Lenovo which is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000. As far as the specifications go, Moto M will come with a 5.5-inch Full (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. Running on 6.0.1 Marshmallow, Moto M is powered by an Octa-Core 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio P15 coupled with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. For the memory, the device will come with 3GB/4GB with 32GB internal storage which will be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD. Unlike the other Moto devices, the Moto M will feature a fingerprint scanner at the back.

For Photography, the smartphone houses a 16-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDA, 1µm pixel size, full HD video recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and Auto-HDR paired with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. For the juice, the device will be powered by a 3050 battery which will support technology. Connectivity features of the device include dual sim 4G, VoLTE, GPS capability, NFC, Type-C. For the design, Lenovo has gone for a splash-proof metallic design. The device measures at 151.35×75.35×7.85mm and weighs at 163 grams.
