Moto G6 to hit Indian shores on June 4, will be Amazon exclusive

Moto G6 will be up against the likes of Honor 9 Lite, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and more if you consider the kind of specifications it offers. Starting with Moto G6, the phone features a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC and 3GB RAM.

It is now confirmed that Motorola will launch its latest mid-budget smartphone, the Moto G6, in India on June 4. The latest smartphone will be launched as an Amazon exclusive.

The e-commerce platform has listed the page of the Moto G6, which confirms the launch date of the upcoming smartphone. Amazon has placed the Notify Me section on the page as well. However, there is no information about when the phone will be available for purchase, but the launch offers, price and availability will be revealed on the launch day i.e. June 04, 2018.

With this, Motorola is all set to bring its first smartphone with the new display trend. The latest smartphone will be up against the likes of Honor 9 Lite, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and more if you consider the kind of specifications it offers. However, things will be difficult for Motorola this time as now most of the budget-segment comes loaded with the latest display trend and some smartphones like Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 are already offering top-of-the-line specifications at the budget price point. So, it would be interesting to see whether the brand will be able to stand tall against its competition or not.

To recall, Motorola introduced the Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in April this year. The Moto G6 is priced at $249 (about Rs. 16,500), while the Moto G6 Play will cost $199 (about Rs. 13,000).

Starting with Moto G6, the phone features a 5.7-inch Full display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The G6 has 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 and 3GB RAM. It ships with 8.0 Oreo operating system. This dual phone has two rear cameras – 12-megapixel primary camera with 76-degree lens and f/1.8 aperture. For selfies and video calling, it offers a 5-megapixel front camera with 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture.
