Moto G6 Play real-life images leaked

The Moto G6 Play is likely to feature a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Motorola is working on the upcoming G6 series that include Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play. Earlier, out of these three, the Moto G6 Play smartphone was spotted on GeekBench website. Now the same phone has been spotted on Taiwanese certification agency NCC’s official website. The images on the NCC website shows the smartphone and some of its accessories.

The NCC listing has been confirmed through some leaked images, by TrendyTechz and carries the model numberXT 1922-1. The images show the Moto G6 Play from the front and back along with sides. They also seem to confirm that the Moto G6 Play will be featuring a 3.5mm jack and a micro USB port. For the camera, it features a single rear camera along with flash on the back panel. There is also Motorola branding on the front as well as the back of the device. The fingerprint sensor appears to be housed in the Moto logo.

In the earlier GeekBench listing, the Moto G6 Play got 472 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 1801 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the G6 Play has 3GB RAM and octa-core Snapdragon 430 clocked at 1.4 GHz. The handset is based on the Android 8.0.0 Oreo operating system.

As per the earlier leaks, the Moto G6 Play will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM. It will feature a 5.7-inch IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and backed by a 4000mAh battery. For the camera, it will have 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a same 16-megapixel front camera as well.

The smartphone is rumoured to be priced at Rs 12,000. After launching it is rumoured to be available in Dark Charcoal, Deep Blue, and Gold colours.
