Oppo has silently made available another budget smartphone, called Oppo Neo 3. As per media reports, this handset has been listed on Flipkart as Oppo Neo R831K for Rs 10,990. Oppo too has listed the Neo 3 on its website but it is yet to reveal its features.
As per the listing on Flipkart, the Neo R831K aka Neo 3 has a 4.5 inch touchscreen with 854×480 pixels resolution. This dual SIM handset has a 1.3 GHz dual core processor. It has the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean based Color OS and 1 GB RAM. There is 4 GB internal memory in the handset and a 32 GB micro SD card slot.
The Oppo Neo 3 has a 5 megapixel camera and a flash light in its rear panel while in the front there is a 2 megapixel unit. It has a 1900 mAh battery though there is no information about its battery back up. The Neo 3 measures 65.8x132x9.2 mm and weighs 130 grams. It has something called HotKnot which like NFC allows one to transfer content faster than Bluetooth by just bumping to another HotKnot enabled device.
There are much more to learn about the Neo 3 but its basic features clearly suggest that the phone’s price is a bit on the higher side as devices like Asus Zenfone 4, Motorola Moto E with similar and even better features are available for lot less.
