Poco has revealed as to which of its smartphones are slated to receive the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update this year.

MIUI 14 based on 13 was debuted globally on February 26 at MWC 2023 event and since then, Xiaomi and its sub-brands have went on to confirm which of their devices will receive the update and when. Now, Poco has confirmed the number of smartphones which will receive the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update in India along with the release timeline

Here’s the list of Poco devices which will receive MIUI 14 in India alongside the confirmed release timeline:

However, some users might be confused as some of the above mentioned Poco devices have already received MIUI 14. This is because the update rolled out earlier was based on Android 12 while the upcoming MIUI 14 update for Poco smartphones will be based on the latest Android 13.

For those unaware, MIUI 14 comes with a bunch of new features and redesigned elements in Xiaomi’s software skin. The redesigned home screen now features tabular icons, big folders, and widgets. To achieve higher efficiency and to make the lighter, the company has also optimized system resources.

Further, Xiaomi is introducing seamless connectivity between smartphones and tablets. Users can now sync the between smartphone and tablet with a click on the taskbar. The new OS also introduces a feature that auto-compresses rarely-used apps and frees up storage space automatically.

With enhanced privacy in mind, Xiaomi has also decided to process sensitive items on the device itself. This addresses the privacy concerns users might have since processing is done locally on the device.
