Milagrow Woman Tabtop now cheaper by Rs 4,000

Softening of the dollar against the rupee is the reason behind the price reduction, says Milagrow.

Milgrow, an Indian company, has slashed the price of its Tabtop. The tablet, which is especially targeted towards females, is now available for Rs 9,990 as against the release price of Rs 13,990.
The Milgrow Tabtop, which we recently reviewed, has good quality and design but does not have some key features like inbuilt 3G, GPS, and capacitive screen.

But with the price reduction, Milgrow Tabtop is now worth considering. Other tablets in this price range are HCL Me Tab(Android 2.3) and iBerry Axus A2 (Android 4.0).

“Owing to the overwhelming success of the Women TabTop and also the softening of the dollar against the rupee, Milagrow is happy to pass this advantage on to its customer base. The TabTop (MGPT02-8GB) can be bought for Rs 9,990 instead of its regular price of Rs 13,990 which translates to a discount of almost 30 percent on the MRP,” said Anku Sharma, product marketing manager, Milagrow Human Tech.

The Milgrow Women Tabtop comes with 2.3 operating system, a 1.2 GHz processor, and 512 MB of DDR3 RAM. The TabTop has a 7 inch LED backlit 4:3 resistive touch display, 8 GB of built-in storage expandable to 32 GB via SD card, WiFi, connectivity via a dongle, USB 2.0, and a 4,000 battery promising more than 8 hours of usage. The tablet is available in four colours – pink, blue, grey and black.
