MTS, a CDMA service provider, has joined hands with Micromax to bring a new smartphone under the later’s Canvas brand. The new Micromax Canvas Blaze is a dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) smartphone and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The Canvas Blaze comes with a pre-bundled MTS SIM card which can be used in its CDMA slot while buyers can use any other operators’ SIM in its GSM slot. As per MTS’s announcement, buyers of Micromax Canvas Blaze will get 2 GB data, 1000 minutes of MTS to MTS calling, and 120 minutes of other local and STD calls for free for six months from the date of purchase.
The Micromax Canvas Blaze comes with a 5 inch touchscreen, dual SIM, 768 MB RAM, 32 GB expandable storage, 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera, and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. It has a 1850 mAh battery that claims to provide 5 hours of talktime. It has Gravity, Proximity and Light Sensors as well. It is based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean version.
The Micromax Canvas Blaze has a dimension of 147.5mmX74mmX9.9mm (height, width, thickness) and comes with WiFi, Bluetooth. There is no information about its internal storage as of now.
