As per Micromax, the screen of Canvas Amaze 2 is made with WOB technology that allows users to continue using the phone even if its screen gets broken.
Micromax today announced the launch of Canvas Amaze 2, which will succeed last year's Canvas Amaze. The Canvas Amaze 2 will be exclusively available on Flipkart through open sale model at Rs 7,499 from June 9.
Commenting on the new smartphone, Shubhajit Sen, chief marketing officer, Micromax Informatics said, "With the launch of new Canvas Amaze 2, we are looking at offering a seamless and connected smartphone experience, which makes their lives simpler and at the same time more amazing with benefits that come with the smartphone. The launch further reiterates our successful partnership with Flipkart to bring the best in class smartphones with industry leading specification to price ratio for our consumers."
The Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 is packed with a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa core processor, a 5-inch HD IPS display, 2500 mAh battery, 2GB DDR3 RAM, and a 13 megapixel rear camera.
Besides, the Canvas Amaze 2 has Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system, 4G connectivity, a 5 megapixel front camera, 16 GB internal memory, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Amaze 2's display comes with the Gorilla Glass 3 and this IPS screen promises 178 degree viewing angle. As per Micromax, the screen is made with WOB technology that allows users to continue using their Amaze 2, in case of a broken screen.
