Micromax has silently made available a new version of Canvas A1 smartphone which was launched some time back under the Android One programme. The new handset, Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502, has twice the internal memory than the older version – 8 GB in the new version compared to 4 GB of the older model. It has a price tag of Rs 6,039.
All other features remain the same though starting with the same 4.5 inch IPS display that comes with 480×854 pixels resolution. The Android 5.1 Lollipop based smartphone has a 1.3 Ghz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, and a 32 GB micro SD card slot.
The new Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502 has also a 5 Megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. Its 1700 mAh battery claims to offer six hours of talktime. This 3G smartphone has dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
