Xiaomi introduced the Mi Exchange Programme in India, in association with Cashify, last year. Then it was available for offline only. But now the same offer is available through Mi online store. Under the programme, one can exchange his/her old phone for a coupon which can be used later to buy a Xiaomi phone through mi.com.
in the earlier avatar, one could exchange their old smartphone, with a new Xiaomi mobile at Mi Home. Depending on the smartphone’s condition, Cashify team at the Mi Store would propose aresale value of the phone based on the Cashify inbuilt application which cannot be negotiated. After the exchange, one will receive an e-receipt for the same, which can later be used as a discount.
How to exchangephone online
Step 1:
To exchange the phone, go to mi page and enter the requested details to evaluate your phone to know how much you will get under the scheme. Post that ifyou exchange your old phone your Mi account will be credited with the exchange value coupon, instantly.
Step 2:
Place a new smartphone order and use the exchange value coupon during checkout. Handover your old phone at the time of delivery of the newphone.
Do keep in mind the phone you are exchanging needs to be in working condition with no physical damage and screen locks should be disabled.
