Metz launches 55-inch 4K OLED TV in India for Rs 99,999

The Metz M55S9A OLED TV sports a front-mounted speaker system with 5 X 4W power output and support for DTS-X Pro sound.

German television brand METZ has launched its first TV in India yesterday. The Metz M55S9A OLED TV comes in screen size of 55 inches and it is priced at Rs 99,999. The TV is available for purchase on Amazon India.

The Metz 55-inch TV has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a contrast ratio of 150000:1. It has Cutting-Edge Self-Luminous Display Technology, True HDR Technology and HDMI ARC. The TV has a clear motion rate of 120Hz i.e a is 60Hz.

The TV runs on 8.0 operating system and it comes pre loaded with Netflix, Youtube and has voice search smart function. The company has confirmed that TV will be updated to Android 9.0 with a software update soon.

The Metz M55S9A OLED TV sports a front-mounted speaker system with 5 X 4W power output and support for DTS-X Pro sound. As per the company, the TV offers a 1ms response time from one grey level to another for lag-free viewing experience. The TV uses a Chameleon chip for video processing. Connectivity options include 3 HDMI ports, 2 ports, Bluetooth, WiFi and it has a power consumption of 110W.
