Meizu has silently announced the launch of its first dual-screen smartphone, the Pro 7, in India. The smartphone is available on Amazon and it comes with a price tag of Rs 22,999.

The company announced this news on its official Twitter handle. The tweet read, “It’s here!! The phone you all have been waiting for. Limited stocks. Available only on Amazon!! #BeAPro” The Meizu Pro 7 will be available in limited stocks and it is available on Amazon through a third-party seller known as ITECH. The listing further reveals that the brand has launched the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant in the country.

To recall, the device was launched in China last year along with Pro 7 Plus. The major highlight of the smartphone is the dual screens which display information like notifications, weather, time, music and more. The second screen can be also used for taking selfies with phones’ rear cameras. The phone bears a 1.9-inch secondary Super with a of 307ppi.

Another major highlight of the device is the dual rear cameras which come with a combination of 12-megapixel out of which one is used for taking pictures, while other captures RGB colours. The cameras further come with f/2.0, 1.25-micron pixel size, Sony IMX386 sensors, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. For the front, both the devices sports a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

The Meizu Pro 7 features a 5.2-inch Full Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor along with Mali-T880 GPU. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and comes in 64GB storage option. The Pro 7 is powered by a 3000mAh battery with mCharge technology and runs on Flyme OS 6 which is based on 7.0 Nougat. The phone measures 147.6 x 70.7 x 7.3mm and weighs 163 grams.
