Meizu M6S to be powered by Exynos 7872 SoC?

The smartphone was earlier reported to feature MediaTek MT6793 chipset.

Meizu is expected to hold an event on December 20 in China in which the company is rumoured to launch the Meizu M6s smartphone. Recently, Meizu M6S was spotted in live images revealing its front and side panel. Now a new leak about the of the Meizu M6S has surfaced online as per a report of MyDrivers via GizmoChina.

As per the report, Meizu M6S will feature Samsung’s Exynos 7872 instead of MediaTek MT6793 SoC which was reported in an earlier leak. The Samsung Exynos 7872 chipset is an upcoming chipset that it will be manufactured using the 14nm FinFET LLP (low power plus) process. Exynos 7872 will reportedly feature six cores with four Cortex-A53 cores meant for power efficiency while remaining two Cortex-A73 cores will be meant for performance. However, the maximum clock frequencies are not known at the moment. The upcoming SoC will come loaded with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, which is found on the Exynos 7870 processor.

The earlier leaks say that the Meizu M6s is expected to feature a 5.7-inches full display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be powered by a MT6793 chipset coupled with 3 of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For the camera, the Meizu M6S is said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie-camera. It will run on 7.0 Nougat operating system. As far as pricing is concerned, the Meizu M6S is said to be priced below 1,000 Yuan which is approximately Rs 9,767.
