Meizu E3 to launch on March 6, likely to come in two variants

Meizu E3 is likely to come with a bezel-less display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The successor of Meizu E2 which is named as the Meizu E3 will be launched this March 6. The company has sent the media invites for the launch event to be held on the said date.

The launch invite hints that Meizu E3 might be coming in two variants. The invitation features a frying pan with the details of the launch event written on it and mentioning the device as E3 G. It is expected that the G might mean gaming. Another invite shows a mug which looks like a camera lens. The body of the mug reveals the launch details device and it is named as “E3 P” which might mean photography. So it is now expected that Meizu will be launching a camera-centric and a gaming variant of the phone. Or it may also be a probability that only one phone is launched at the event that offers both features.

Recently some images of the Meizu E3 leaked on the Chinese social networking website, Weibo revealing the key design of the smartphone. As per the images, there is vertical dual camera setup on the top-left corner of the rear of the device. The front of the Meizu E3 shows the selfie camera, an earpiece and a sensor. One another photo shows the Meizu E3 placed inside a protective case. The bottom of the phone seems to feature an external speaker, a USB-C port, a microphone and a 3.5mm audio jack. On the left, we can see the volume buttons and card tray slot. The right side features a fingerprint sensor and a power button.

As per rumours, the Meizu E3 will come with a bezel-less display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.
