Meizu is working on its upcoming Meizu 16s smartphone which is said to be launched this month. Recently, the smartphone was spotted on TENAA certification website and now a render of the smartphone has surfaced online.
The company’s executive has shared a render of the smartphone which reveals the design. The render has revealed that the phone will come in white colour variant. The phone will continue to offer Meizu’s style of simple and sleek design language.
As per the render, the phone will come with minimal bezels around the display and it will offer higher screen-to-body ratio. The rear of the phone shows that it will feature a vertically aligned dual camera setup with sensors in the top-left corner. There in Meizu branding at the back as well. Notably, the phone does not feature a fingerprint sensor at the back, it is likely to have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
As per the TENAA listing, the phone will feature a 6.2 inches display with support for 1080 x 2232 pixels full HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It has 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage.
The smartphone will come with a dual rear camera setup which will include 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor and 20-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, it will come with a 20-megapixel camera.
The phone will measure 151.9 x 73.4 x 7.65mm and it weighs 166 grams. It will have support for dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type C. The smartphone will run Android 9.0 (Pie) with Flyme OS and it will be backed up by 3,540mAh battery with 24W mCharge fast charging. It will come in in three colour variants - Black, White and Gradient Blue colours.
