LG launched G8X ThinQ at the IFA 2019 event in Berlin last month. Now the company has announced V50S ThinQ with 5G support in Korea. The phone is the 5G version of G8X ThinQ.
The LG V50S ThinQ is priced at 11,99,000 Korean Won (approx. Rs 71,340) and also comes with the dual-screen accessory for free. It comes in Black colour.
The LG V50S ThinQ features a 6.4-inch FHD+ FullVision OLED Display with a Resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a 2.1-inch Mono Cover Display on the outside. The DualScreen can be used for showing two apps at the same time, multitasking or when gaming. The new Dual Screen can be used at 0-degree, 104-degree and 180-degree angles. It can connect to the phone via USB instead of Pogo Pins.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm Octa-core Processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It has 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and expandable memory up to 2TB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed up by a 4,000mAh with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
LG V50S ThinQ features a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 1.4µm Pixel size, 78° lens and 13MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size, 136° lens, LED flash. For the front, it has a 32MP camera with f/1.9 aperture, 0.8μm pixel size, 79° lens.
The phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity features are 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible) and 3.5mm audio jack. Additional features include a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Stereo speakers, MIL-STD 810G durability and IP68 dust and water resistance. It measures 159.3 x 75.8 x 8.4mm and the weight is 192 grams.
