LG is reported to bundle Google Daydream VR headset for free with every pre-order of the upcoming V30 smartphone. The company will be providing the headset for free in South Korea.
However, there is a catch. According to a report by ETNews, users have to pay 5,000 won to LG Pay to become eligible for a free VR headset. The headset, when purchased separately, will cost around 90,000 won (approx. Rs 5,124). Further, the report highlights that the company is also planning to introduce more interesting offers as well.
To start with, the company might introduce 50 percent support for screen repair (once in a year), 100,000 won (approx. Rs 5,693) worth coupon for VR games, discount coupons on home appliances and the brand will also bundle Bang & Olufsen earphones with the upcoming device.
Recollecting some previous rumours, the LG V30 will sport a 6-inch QHD+ P-OLED FullVision display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. LG further adds that the V30 will have 20 percent less upper and 50 percent lesser bezels compared to the V20. The display will be further protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which comes with improved drop protection 80 percent of the time.

On the camera front, the brand has revealed that the smartphone will be world’s first smartphone to feature f/1.6 aperture lens. The phone will sport a dual-camera setup and the large aperture will be used in “normal” lens, while the secondary camera will come with a wide-angle lens, similar to what we have seen in LG G6.
The company has also confirmed that LG V30 will feature a 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by EES Technology’s SABRE ES9218P. The Hi-Fi Quad DAC will come with two new features including digital filters and sound presets.
