LG G6 gets its fourth price cut, offering Rs 13,000 discount

LG G6 was launched at Rs 51,990 in April this year.

Recently, LG announced a flat discount of Rs 10,000 on LG G6 smartphone after which LG G6 was available for 41,999 as against its initially launched price at Rs 51,990. And now, the price has been further reduced to Rs 38,990 on Amazon India after a price cut of Rs 13,000 which makes it the fourth price cut for the smartphone. However, the deal is for a limited time only and you need to be an Amazon Prime user in order to avail the discount.

Earlier, we reported of LG G6 receiving a discount of Rs 9,000 and was available on Amazon for Rs 42,999. Prior to that, the phone was available for Rs 41,990.

To recall, the smartphone was first unveiled during Mobile World Congress 2017. As far as specifications are concerned, the LG G6 feature a 5.7-inch 18:9 QHD+ FullVision display with a of 2880 x 1440 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4 and 32GB/64GB on internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 2TB via card. It runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system and is backed up by a 3,300mAh (embedded) battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. It also houses a fingerprint scanner and comes with USB 2.0 (3.1 compatible) as well.

On the camera front, it has Dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel Wide (F2.4 / 125°) and 13-megapixel Standard OIS 2.0 (F1.8 / 71°) sensor with flash. On the front it has a 5-megapixel Wide (F2.2 / 100°) selfie camera. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 a, b, g, n, ac), 4.2 BLE, NFC, Water and Dust Resistant support, UX 6.0, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC. The handset measures 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 163 grams.
