Lenovo has quietly launched its new smartphone in India under its K-series, dubbed as Lenovo K9 Note. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 and is available for purchase through offline channels. The phone has been now listed on Lenovo India website as well. It comes in jet black and sunburst gold colour options.
The major highlight of Lenovo K9 Note is its dual rear camera setup, which comes with a combination of 16-megapixel AI primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone features a 5.9-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and comes equipped with 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Lenovo K9 Note houses a fingerprint sensor embedded on its rear panel and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The phone gets its juices from a 3760 mAh battery.Connectivity options include Dual Sim, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm Headphone jack and a micoUSB port. Other sensors include G-sensor, light sensor, Proximity Sensor and e-compass. The phone measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 8.5 mm and weighs 176 grams.
Just to refresh, thecompany launched Lenovo K9 smartphone in India last year for Rs 8,999. The USP of that smartphone was dual camera setup both at front and rear. The phone had a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and was powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also has an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card. The K9 smartphone was backed up by a 3000mAh battery and also houses a USB Type-C port.
