Lenovo has launched Lenovo Tab M8 and Tab M7 tablets ahead of IFA 2019 next week. Lenovo Tab M8 (HD) starts at €139 (Rs 11,015 approx.) and it will be available starting in October 2019. It comes in Iron Grey and Platinum Grey colours. Lenovo Tab M8 (FHD) starts at €159 (Rs 12,600 approx.) and it will be available starting in October 2019. It comes in Iron Grey and Platinum Grey colours.
Lenovo Tab M7, on the other hand, starts at €99 (Rs 7,845 approx.) and it will be available starting in October 2019. It comes in Iron Grey, Platinum Grey and Onyx Black colours. Both the tablets have built-in Kid’s Mode 3.0 offering customized kids content for children under 12 years of age.
The Lenovo Tab M7 features a 7-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8321 (WiFi) / MT8765B (LTE) processor. It is backed by a 1GB/2GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB/32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.
The tablet has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. It runs Android 9.0 (Pie) and Android Pie Go Edition for the 1GB RAM variant. The tablet is fueled by 3450 mAh battery with up to 10 hours of video watching or browsing. Connectivity features are 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm Headphone jack. It measures 176.33 x 102.85 x 8.25 and the weight is 236 grams.
The Lenovo Tab M8 comes in two variants – 8-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution with 350 nit brightness. It is powered by 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm Processor with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU.
The tablet has 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. It runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed up by a 5000mAh battery which the company claims to offer up to 12 hours of video watching or 18 hours of browsing.
It has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS and .5mm headphone jack. The tablet measures 199.1x 121.8 x 8.15 and it weighs 305grams.
