Lava Iris 414, an Android KitKat based smartphone, has been launched at Rs 4,049. The Iris 414 has a 1 GHz processor, 4 inch display with 480×800 pixels resolution, 3.2 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. Both the cameras are of fixed focus. There is an LED flash light as well in the rear panel.
Besides, the Lava Iris 414 has a 1400 mAh battery that claims to offer 12 hours of 2g talktime or 10 hours 40 minutes on 3G network. It has 4 GB of Internal Memory of which expect around 2 GB of user memory. There is 512 MB RAM and 32 GB micro SD card slot as well. The Lava Iris 414 measures 120mm X 63.4mm X 10.4mm and weighs 110 grams.
Our Opinion
Android KitKat phones under Rs 5,000 are not new; there are plenty now in the market. The Iris 414 is okay though at Rs 4,049 but expect a price drop in few days.
