Lava has announced a special screen replacement offer. Under this a customer purchasing any Lava smartphone or feature phone from September 15, 2016 – November 15, 2016 will be entitled to avail a one-time mobile screen replacement within 365 days from date of purchase.
Lava also claims that it has a strong retail and service network of over 1,25,000 retailers and 950 service centres, marking its presence even in the remotest parts of country such as in Leh region as well in Andaman & Nicobar Island.
Commenting on the offer Navin Chawla, chief operating officer, Lava said, “As our consumers look forward to the upcoming festive season, it’s an exciting time for us as well, to be a part of their celebrations. This offer, we are sure, will add value to their festivities and help them get more out of their purchase. We recognize that people spend considerable amount of money to buy mobile phones, and are always concerned about high screen replacement costs in case of accidental damage. This offer will give our consumers some peace of mind and will enable them to fully utilize their devices’ potential.” He further added, “This is another way to let our consumers know that they can rely on us and that LAVA, as a reliable brand, will never let them down.”
In case one has experienced a screen breakage, he needs to visit any Lava authorised service centre to avail this offer. Moreover, customer also provide the original proof of purchase, identity proof and a valid contact number. Though the screen replacement is free, one still needs to pay labour charges of Rs 250 for smartphones and Rs 150 for feature phones. Unfortunately, the offer is strictly not applicable on tablets and laptops.
Boasting about the results of past year, Lava claims that it clocked revenue of Rs. 7626 crores with a growth rate of 23% from previous year. As per the company, it has about 31 regional warehouses across India and performs weekly spare planning for over 13,500 Stock Keeping Units to ensure seamless customer service experience.
