Recently, we had reported that Realme is gearing up to launch new smartphones in the Chinese market. Today, company’s CMO, Xu Qi Chase, posted few lines on Weibo account that reads “There are still ten days! I am going to go to Beijing to step on a point”. He seems to be hinting towards the imminent launch of the Realme X smartphone in Beijing is just 10 days away.
Few days back, CMO Xu Qi has confirmed through its Weibo account that the Realme pop-up camera phone will be called as Realme X. Further, the post reads “full screen dare to leapfrog”, which confirms that Realme X will have a full-screen display.
As per new rumours, the company might launch two versions of Realme X phone, the Realme X and the flagship Realme X Pro. The Realme X standard would be powder by Snapdragon 730 SoC and will sport a pop-up selfie camera. Further, the smartphone is said to have in-display fingerprint sensor based on the sixth generation optical sensing and display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It may support VOOC 3.0 Fast charging technology. On the camera front, it might go with dual rear camera setup having a 48-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel depth camera. Further, the phone will have three variants- 6GB of RAM with 64GB storage ( expected price: CNY 1,599), the 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage (expected Price: CNY 1799) and an 8GB of RAM with 128GB storage ( expected price CNY 1,999).
Realme X Pro is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC and will come in two variants, 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage ( expected price: CNY 2,299) and 8GB of RAM with 128GB storage (expected price:CNY 2,599).
Earlier, two smartphones were spotted on TENAA, with model no RMX1851 and RMX1901. The RMX1851 looks identical to Realme 3 Pro. However, RMX1901 will be altogether a new phone and most likely it will be Realme X. The TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with no notch. The phone is equipped with a dual rear camera setup placed vertically at the middle of the back panel. The phone will be backed up by a 3,680mAh battery. It measures 161.2 x 76 x 9.4mm and will also have a 3.5mm Headphone jack. The images don’t reveal a fingerprint scanner at the back, which hints at the in-display fingerprint scanner and might come with a pop-up selfie camera as well. The rear panel shows a gradient finish with black and blue colors.
