“I am so confused. Why Apple have made a nude folder on my phone without my permission or authorisation,” a Twitter user literally screamed on the social networking website.
She is one of many who since few days are complaining on social network sites that iPhone is storing their nude pictures without their consent. As reported, the Apple Photos application in iPhone stores users’ pictures in a folder called “Brassiere” in which they are wearing bras, lingerie or bikinis.
Reportedly, this isn’t a new feature and it has been there earlier as well but has been discovered recently. In fact, Google’s Android too said to be doing the same. Actually, such photo apps come with categorisation feature which uses keywords like “bra” to sort pictures and keep them in certain folders to make it easy for the user to find them afterwards.
As per CNET, people should not freak out as the search happens in the users’ device only.
