The poster shared by iQOO India CEO also confirms that the device will be available for purchase on Amazon. Furthermore, it confirms that iQOO will also launch a BMW M Motorsport edition of the device, maintaining the trend it began years ago.

iQOO 12 to run on Android 14 in India
Ahead of the launch, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 12 will run on Android 14 based FunTouchOS 14 out of the box. This makes it the first non-Pixel smartphone in India to come with Android 14 pre-loaded. As far as FunTouch OS 14 is concerned, it is packed with new features, under the hood improvements along with some user interface changes as well.
Moreover, the OS integration in iQOO 12 will ensure the device comes with no hot apps or games. In other words, the bloatware has been omitted. Further, the company confirms that iQOO 12 will get 3 major Android OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches.

iQOO 12 India Price Tipped
As per a report by MySmartPrice, iQOO is aiming to price the iQOO 12 under Rs 55,000. Further, tipster Mukul Sharma also shared an image that shows the box price of the iQOO 12 which is Rs 5X,999. The tipster claims that the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) is Rs 56,999 while the actual pricing could be around Rs 53,000 to Rs 55,000. The phone will launch in two variants: 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB, according to the report.

iQOO India has confirmed the launch of the upcoming iQOO 12 5G in the country. It is being touted as the first smartphone in India to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, that was unveiled a few hours back. iQOO 12 series is set to launch in China on November 7.
iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya posted on X (formerly Twitter) stating that iQOO 12 5G is coming soon to the region. The teaser image also notes that it will be the first smartphone in India to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. For those unaware, Qualcomm unveiled it’s latest flagship mobile processor a few hours ago, which is set to come equipped on a bunch of high-end smartphones for the next year.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is based on a 4nm process from TSMC, unlike Apple’s A17 Pro that stays ahead with a 3nm process. It comprises of the Qualcomm Kyro CPU with a 64-bit Architecture. There’s 1 Prime ARM Cortex-X4 core running at up to 3.3 GHz, 5 performance cores at up to 3.2 GHz and 2 efficiency cores at up to 2.3 GHz.
As for the iQOO 12 5G, it has been confirmed via a recent GSMArena report that the device will employ a dedicated display Processor with hardware-accelerated ray tracing support. Then, the iQOO 12 will run popular mobile games like PUBG Mobile, PUBG New State, Genshin Impact, and LoL Mobile at 144 FPS with frame interpolation. In addition, there will be a special “Legend Edition iQOO 12 Inspired by BMW M Motorsport”.
For optics, the device could pack triple rear cameras including a 50MP Wide-Angle lens and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3X Optical Zoom support. It could be backed by a 5000mAh battery that may support 200W fast charging. In India, it should run on Android 14-based FunTouch OS14 out of the box.
