Intex has announced a 3G enabled dual core tablet, called i-Buddy Connect 3G. The 7-inch dual SIM tablet is priced at Rs 9,990 and comes with 1 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB ROM. It is based on Android 4.0 operating system.
Intex i-Buddy Connect 3G has a 3.2 megapixel camera at the back and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. The tablet has a 3500 mAh lithium Ion battery with claimed talktime of 3 hours. The tablet also has an HDMI port for it to be connected to a TV and Bluetooth.
The tablet is aimed a student community and comes with Educlass – a smart school application with curriculum for K12 (10+2). This application includes educational content like preloaded NCERT text books from class 1- 12, large repository of question banks and interactive content for various subjects.
