Idea Cellular has today announced a cashback offer on all new 4G smartphones. Under this offer, Idea users will get Rs 2,000 cashback on the purchase of new 4G smartphone of any brand.
The offer is applicable for both prepaid and postpaid users and it will valid from February 23, 2018, to April 30, 2018. Starting with the prepaid customers, they to do a recharge of Rs 199 or above every month in order to avail this offer. The pack offers 1.4GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited voice calls on local and STD network. The pack also features 100 SMS per day and it comes with a validity of 28 days.
Further, customers recharging with long validity packs like Rs 398, Rs 449 and Rs 509 need not to recharge every month with Rs 199. The prepaid users need to perform a cumulative recharge of Rs 3,000 in the first 18 months to get a cashback of Rs 750 and Rs 3,000 recharge for a period of 18 months to get the remaining cashback of Rs 1,250.
For postpaid users, the cashback offer is applicable on all Nirvana voice combo plans starting fromo Rs 389 for a duration of 36 months. Commenting on the campaign, Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular, said, “The primary barrier for 4G adoption has been 4G handset affordability. The focus is on upgrading the customer to 4G by making 4G handsets more affordable. We are targeting this communication to all customers intending to buy a new 4G smartphone.”
