iBall, an Indian IT, mobile and tablet brand has launched a new 4.0 tablet called the iBall Slide i9702. This new tablet comes with a 9.7 inch IPS screen. It is the first tablet in the budget range to have an IPS panel display. IPS panel screens offer wider viewing angles as compared to normal screens.

The new iBall Slide i9702 has a 2 megapixel camera both at front and at the back. It also gets a big 8000 mAh battery with claimed backup time of over 7 hours. It has an 8 GB built-in memory expandable up to 32 GB with a micro SD slot.

For connectivity, besides WiFi, USB on the go and a host port it has through USB, and an HDMI port for connectivity to projectors or TVs.
