iBall launches WiFi Android tablet with IPS panel

The tablet comes with a large battery and a healthy 1 GB RAM but is slightly expensive at Rs 7,990.

Indian device maker, iBall has launched a new variant in its Slide tablet range. The tablet, called the iBall Slide i6516, features a 7 inch IPS panel high definition display. Notably, IPS panels are known for better viewing angle.
The table runs on a Cortex A8 1.2 GHz and has 1 of DDR3 RAM. It also features a 2 megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera as well as a HDMI port, direct USB ports (to run Data cards) and Bluetooth.
The 4.0 based tablet comes with a 4000 Lithium Ion battery which should offer a decent battery life. The iBall Slide i6516 comes with pre-loaded applications such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Zomato and CricketNext.
Director of iBall, Sandeep Parasrampuria said, “The Slide has been our proud entry into the tablet market, but we must keep innovating and introduce variants of it for all users. This one’s got a good mix of must-have features and unique ones. We expect iBall Slide i6516 will be liked by all who are looking for performance and the best features and benefits!”

It is priced at Rs 7,999.
