Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 was launched in India earlier this month for Rs 15,990. The smartphone is now available for pre-bookings in India on Croma, Poorvika, and other major retail outlets. It will go on sale in offline stores in India starting from August 12.
The phone will be available for purchase in Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue colour options. Those customers who pre-book the device will get free Huawei Sport BT headphones and a 15,600mAh powerbank, both worth Rs 4,598.
As for the online sale, the phone will be available for sale on Amazon India at 12 P.M on August 7, exclusively for Prime members. The regular sale will commence at 12 P.M on August 8. For the launch offers on Amazon, customers will get no cost EMI up to 6 months and up to 10 percent instant discount on SBI credit/debit card. Customers will also get Rs 500 Amazon Pay discount and Reliance Jio customers will get benefits up to Rs 20,000. The company is giving an additional discount of up to Rs 1,500 in exchange for your old phone.
The Huawei Y9 Prime comes with 6.59-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It has an octa-Core Kirin 710F Chipset with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU coupled with 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The phone comes with an option to expand the storage up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, it sports a triple rear camera module with a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. For the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie sensor with an f/2.2 lens. It runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie and fueled by a 4000mAh battery which charges via a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Meanwhile, Huawei is rolling out the EMUI 9.1 update to Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in India. The latest update brings improved performance, new wallpapers and icons, GPU Turbo 3.0, EROFS and much more.
