Huawei Y9, whose specs were leaked earlier, is now official. The phone has been launched in Thailand.
The final product has all the specs that were leaked earlier including a 5.93-inch IPS LCD display offering full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It has the Kirin 659 octa-core SoC is clocked at 2.36GHz, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card.
The highlight of Huawei Y9 is its cameras. It has dual camera set up in both front and rear panels. In the front, the Y9 offers a 16 MP + 2 MP camera set up while in the back, the phone offers a 13 MP + 2 MP set up.
A 4000 mAh battery powers the phone which is based on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. But it has slightly tweaked user interface – the Huawei EMUI 8.0.
Besides the Huawei Y9 offers dual SIM and a fingerprint sensor. It has been announced in black, blue and gold colours. As of now there is no information about its launch in other countries but most likely it will be launched in other countries too.
