Alongside the launch of the Nova 5, Nove 5 Pro and Nova 5i smartphones, Huawei has announced the Huawei MediaPad M6 tablet in China today. The tablet comes in two sizes and offers flagship specs with large batteries and will be available for a starting price of 1999 yuan (approx. Rs 20,200).
Huawei MediaPad M6 will come in 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch screen sizes with 2K display resolution. The tablet is powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 980 CPU alongside the Mali-G76 GPU, dual NPUs, 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.
The tablet’s connectivity options include a USB Type-C port. microSD card, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack. The MediaPad M6 offers four-channel speakers tuned by Harman-Kardon for improved audio solutions.
The 8.4-inch MediaPad M6 comes with a 6100mAh battery while the 10.8-inch variant packs a 7500mAh power unit, both of which come in 9V/2A fast charging. There’s a 13MP primary camera at the back of the M6 while the front of the device comes with an 8MP selfie sensor.
Additional features include support for a keyboard dock, Huawei M-Pen Lite stylus, fingerprint sensor(on the 10.8-inch) and split screen option for better productivity.
The Huawei MediaPad M6 can be purchased in Champagne Gold colour for the 8.4-inch model while the 10.8-inch version comes in Dark Grey colour. Itwill be available for a starting price of 1999 yuan (approx. Rs 20,200) for the 8.4-inch, Wifi Only base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Other models include

All models of the MediaPad M6 are available from July 10 with pre-orders for the8.4-inch versions starting from today. The 10.8-inch M6 will be available for pre-booking from June 21.
