Huawei releases EMUI 9.0 for the Indian market

Huawei has announced that it is all set to introduce the latest EMUI 9.0 in India. The company has introduced some India-specific features in the latest user interface.

Huawei has revealed that it will soon roll out the EMUI 9.0 update to various Huawei devices in the country soon. Coming to India-specific features, the new update will local language support to 28 languages. Then there is a local calendar that will showcase different panchang and more. The brand has also enabled deeper integration for the Paytm application in the upcoming operating

To recall, the brand introduced the latest EMUI 9.0 during the IFA 2018 tech show hosted in Berlin along with latest Mate 20 series. The user interface from Huawei is based on Android 9.0 Pie and it offers a host of interesting features. The brand says that with the latest operating system, users will get 12.9 per cent better performance as compared to previous models.


The user interface comes with GPU Turbo 2.0 that the company claims can enhance touch controls in games and works in concert with the App Assistant feature to deliver a smooth, premium mobile gaming experience. These features all allow for a more efficient user experience while operating the phone.
