UPDATE: The company has now sent the media invites for the launch event to be held on April 9 in New Delhi. The invite has confirmed that Huawei will be launching Huawei P30 Pro and P30 Lite in India on the said date.
Huawei recently launched the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro smartphones at an event in Paris. The company is said to launch all three smartphones in the P30 series in India – the P30, P30 Pro, and the P30 Lite.
Amazon India has already made live the “Notify Me” page for the Huawei P30 series, confirming that the flagship will be coming to India very soon. Now Amazon has revealed that the price of the Huawei P30 Pro in India will be announced on Tuesday, April 9.
It is likely that Huawei will hold its launch event on April 9 in India where it will announce Huawei P30 Pro along with P30 and P30 Lite. As of now, the Indian pricing of the Huawei P30 series is not known, but the pricing can be guessed for now based on their European pricing.
The regular Huawei P30 is priced at EUR 799 (approx Rs 62,200) and it comes in a single variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Huawei P30 Pro comes in three variants – EUR 999 (approx Rs 77,800) for the 8GB/128GB variant, 8GB/256GB is priced at EUR 1,099 (approx Rs 85,600) and the premium variant with 8GB/512GB storage will cost you EUR 1,249 (approx Rs 97,300), respectively.
The Huawei P30 Pro sports a 6.47-inch OLED FullView Display with a Resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by the same HiSilicon Kirin 980 which comprises of dual Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, two Cortex-A76 clocked at 1.92GHz and four Cortex-A55 at 1.8GHz.
The P30 Pro offers a 4,200mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge technology as well as 15W wireless charging. In terms of optics, the Huawei P30 Pro features a Leica Quad Camera setup which combines a 40MP Huawei SuperSpectrum (27mm, f/1.6, OIS) sensor, a 20MP Ultra-wide angle (16mm, f/2.2) lens, an 8MP 5X optical periscope-zoom (125mm, f/3.4, OIS) lens and a TOF sensor. It features the same 32MP SuperSelfie camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
