Huawei MediaPad Pro launched with punch-hole display, Kirin 990 SoC

Huawei MediaPad Pro features a 10.8-inch WQXGA display with 2560 x 1200 pixel resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 90% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D curved glass.

Huawei has launched its new tablet in China – MatePad Pro. The Huawei MediaPad Pro is priced at 3299 Yuan (Rs 33,640 approx.) for the 6GB with 128GB storage version, 3999 Yuan (Rs 40,770 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version, 3799 Yuan (Rs 38,740 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage LTE version while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage LTE version costs 4499 Yuan (Rs 45,870 approx.). It comes in Orange, White, Green and Gray colours.

Huawei MediaPad Pro features a 10.8-inch WQXGA punch-hole display with 2560 x 1200 pixel resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 90% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D curved glass. The tablet is powered by Kirin 990 with ARM Mali-G76MP16 paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

For the camera department, the MediaPad Pro has a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, f/1.8 and a 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The tablet has a 7250 battery with 20W charging built-in, support for 40W HUAWEI super fast charge, 15W wireless charging, 7.5w reverse charging to charge other devices on the back of the tablet.

For surround sound, the device has Harman Kardon quad-speakers featuring the company’s Histen 5.0 sound system. The tablet also comes with M-Pen stylus, the M-Pencil for more precise interaction and drawing.

In terms of software, Huawei MediaPad Pro runs on 10 with EMUI 10.0.1 on top. It lacks Google Play and other Google apps and services. As far connectivity is concerned, the tablet includes LTE (though optional) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz), 5.1, GPS, Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack. The MediaPad M5 Lite measures 246 x 159x 7.2mm and weighs 460 grams.
