Huawei has today launched its flagship smartphone in India - Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is priced at Rs 69,990 and it will be exclusively available for sale in India on Amazon starting December 4. Amazon Prime members will be able to buy the Mate 20 Pro a day early on December 3.
As a part of the launch, Huawei will be offering a pair of Sennheiser PCX550 headphones which are priced at Rs 29,990 to buyers for just Rs 2,000. Huawei Mate 20 Pro along with the headphones will be be priced at Rs 71,990. It comes in Emerald Green, Black, and Twilight colour options.
The company has also announced Mate 20 RS Porsche Design which will be availalble in India in coming days. Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS Porsche Design offer same set of specifications except their design. While the Mate 20 Pro comes with a shiny glass, the Mate 20 RS is a special luxury edition with Porsche Design logo and leather and glass strips at the back panel.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a 6.39-inch Quad HD+ OLED curved display with a screen resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 HDR and 820 nits brightness. The phone is powered by the latest Kirin 980 chipset, which is based on the 7nm process along with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU.
It is backed by an 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with an expandable option of 256GB via microSD card slot. Interestingly, it is first smartphone that comes loaded with nano microSD card support. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Apple iPhone X-like facial recognition. There are various sensors including Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, electronic compass, gyroscope, infrared sensor and proximity sensor.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro runs EMUI 9.0 on top of Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. It is fueled by a 4200mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge technology and 15W fast wireless charging technology. It also supports wireless reverse charging for charging other Qi wireless devices. Connectivity options for the Mate 20 Pro include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C support. The phone measures 157.8 x 72.3 x 8.6mm and weight is around 189 grams.
