Recently, an HTC smartphone named as HTC Ocean Harmony surfaced online which was as per reports was expected to be announced in December. Now as per popular leakster Evan Blass, the Ocean Harmony might be released as HTC U11 EYEs. It is to be noted that back in 2014, HTC launched a smartphone called as Desire EYE which came with a massive selfie camera.
The tipster has however not revealed any information on the specifications of the U11 EYEs. But since it falls under U11 series of smartphones, it is likely to sport a design that is similar to other U-series phones. A per rumours, the HTC U11 EYEs might feature dual front cameras.
Recently, HTC 2Q4R400 received 3C certification in China which is speculated to be codenamed as HTC Ocean Harmony. Earlier rumours have revealed that the phone will feature a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The phone will feature an aspect ratio of 18:9 and it bears a Super LCD-5 display panel. Further, the phone will feature a bezel-less design, similar to what we have seen in HTC U11+.
On the hardware front, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 and Snapdragon 660 chipset variants. The Snapdragon 652 will be backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the Snapdragon 660 variant will be coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
Moving on, the smartphone will be backed a 3930mAh battery and it comes loaded with Edge Sense functionality. For the unintended, through Edge Sense one can perform different functions. A simple squeeze will allow users to interact with the side panel that allows you to initiate actions like take photos, open Facebook, or launch any of your favourite apps. For the camera, it will boast OIS enabled 12-megapixel rear camera and a dual 5-megapixel front-facing cameras.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Snapdragon 652 variant of U11 EYEs might be priced at 2,599 Yuan (~$395) while the Snapdragon 660 model may be priced at 3,599 Yuan (~$545).
