HTC Ocean Harmony specs leaked online, could be launched in December

The phone is reported to feature a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

HTC was earlier reported to launch three new smartphones, the Ocean Master, Ocean Harmony and Ocean Lite. The HTC Ocean and Ocean Lite are none other than recently launched HTC U11+ and HTC U11 Life. Now, some key specs of the HTC Ocean Harmony have surfaced online.

According to a SlashLeaks, the Ocean Harmony will be announced in December. The phone is reported to feature a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The phone will feature an aspect ratio of 18:9 and it bears a Super LCD-5 display panel. Further, the phone will feature a bezel-less design, similar to what we have seen in HTC U11+.

On the hardware front, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. According to some previous reports, the smartphone will be backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Moving on, the Ocean Harmony will be backed a 3930mAh battery and it comes loaded with Edge Sense functionality. For the unintended, through Edge Sense one can perform different functions. A simple squeeze will allow users to interact with the side panel that allows you to initiate actions like take photos, open Facebook, or launch any of your favourite apps.

One can even use squeeze functionality to use voice to text feature. One needs to Lightly squeeze, speak your message and send your texts on the go. And because Edge Sense is based on the actual pressure applied to the side of the device, it can be used in nearly any condition – including while wearing gloves or in weather such as snow or rain that would normally be a challenge with capacitive buttons.
