HTC Sense 5 UI to be better?

Leaked screenshots of the purported HTC Sense 5 user interface hints a cleaner and better looking update with Holo icons.

HTC is quietly working on the new 2013 smartphones and also software. A user at Chinese social network Weibo posted images of the purported HTC Sense 5 user interface screenshots. The user interface appears to be tweaked a bit and the icons in the user interface have more of the Android’s “Holo” look. The images are said to be taken from the upcoming HTC M7 handset.

HTC improves and updates its custom layer of User Interface dubbed as Sense on the top of the basic Android update version. This year, HTC is expected to update the current user interface to Sense 5 and the purported images of the same have surfaced online. The objective of the Sense 5 overhaul is to keep the user experience simple and clean.

The screenshots hint subtle changes in the user interface starting with the lock screen where the ring gestures seems to be removed. More changes are expected throughout the Sense 5 user interface but only select few screenshots were available.

HTC is rumoured to unveil the new M7 smartphone that features full 1080p HD resolution supporting 4.7-inch touch screen display. The HTC M7 will feature 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon mobile processor with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage.

Featuring 13 megapixel camera at the back to record 1080p HD video, there is also a 2 megapixel camera in the front capable of full HD video chat. HTC M7 will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will support networks as well.
