HTC has announced its first 5 inch screen smartphone in Japan. The phone, called HTC J Butterfly, has a 5-inch, 1920x1080p full HD resolution based Super LCD 3 display.
And it is not just the display is brilliant, even other hardware of the phone are equally mouth watering such as Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 1.5 GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera and a 2020 mAh battery.
HTC J Butterfly, codenamed as HTL 21, also comes with micro SD card support, LTE connectivity, NFC, HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, and Infrared. HTC has put Sense 4+ UI on the smartphone, which was recently seen on HTC One X+ smartphone.
The phone is quite slim as it measures only 9.1mm in thickness. HTC will make it available in Red, White and Black colours. The phone will be the new flagship for the HTC wherever it is launched.
The only bad news is that it will be available only by early December in Japan but there is no announcement for other markets as of now. However we expect the announcements to be made soon.
