HTC is reportedly readied a new Windows Phone handset which is codenamed as Accord. Pocket-Lint, which has reported this, has cited the guide manual images of the upcoming Windows Phone 8 based smartphone that is likely to be branded as HTC 8X.
As The Mobile Indian had also reported last month, HTC is supposed to be working on three different Windows Phone 8 devices – namely Rio, Accord and Zenith. Out of these three devices, the purported images of the HTC Accord’s manual leaked to share its brand name – HTC 8X.
The HTC Accord is purported to have 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 touchscreen display with 720p HD pixel resolution natively. This smartphone will pack 1 GB RAM and will have 42 Mbps HSPA+ network support. Apart from the Near Field Communication chip, the HTC 8X features 8 megapixel camera at the back with LED Flash and capable of recording full 1080p HD videos.
HTC 8X brand name obviously comes from the Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system version number. The company had followed the same pattern with HTC HD 7 at the launch of Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system.
With the launch date of Windows 8 operating system approaching, we can expect HTC to make its Windows Phone 8 based devices official any time in coming few weeks.
