The Oreo update will bring the picture-in-picture mode that lets users to two tasks simultaneously.
HTC, back in August last year, promised the Android Oreo update for three smartphones including HTC U11, U Ultra and HTC 10. The brand has already rolled out the stable Oreo update for the HTC U11 and now, the company has started rolling out the update for HTC 10.
The company has started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update via an Over the Air (OTA) (via Android Police). The update carries a version number 3.16.617.2 and is about 1.8GB in size. If you are eager to upgrade to the latest update, you can download it from RUU. Through this one can manually download the desired files and flash the Android 8.0 Oreo onto your smartphone. However, it is important to note that flashing will erase all the data from your smartphone and one has to set it up again from the scratch. So, proceed with cautions.

Android Oreo has other features like including Background limits, installation of apps via APK, over 60 new emojis, notification dots, Wide-gamut colour for apps, Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, WebView enhancements and much more.
To recollect, the device comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, runs on Android Marshmallow operating system with HTC Sense user interface, is backed by a 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and an expandable storage slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 2 TB capacity.
