HP Spectre x360 13 laptop launched in India

HP has announced the launch of a new premium laptop in the country with HP Spectre x360. The laptop is available for purchase at a starting price of Rs 99,990 and it will be available from 50 HP World Stores in 50+ cities, HP Online Store, Amazon and Flipkart.

The major highlight of the compact laptop is the dedicated kill switch for the webcam. With this, one can physically switch on/off the webcam according to their need. It also comes with a dedicated mute mic with key to switch the microphone on and off. Furthermore, it also features Windows Hello with camera and a fingerprint sensor, which is located at the keyboard deck.

The HP Spectre x360 features a 13-inch display with True Black HDR that the company claims delivers 100,00:1 contrast ratio. The display offers 400-nits brightness along with factory colour calibration with Delta E <2 for a 30 per cent wider colour range.

It comes with a dual chamfer angular design, which integrates the USB-C port placement angled in the right corner for improved cord management and the power button on the left corner of the device to avoid accidental power shut-offs. The laptop is available in two colour options: Nightfall Black with Copper Luxe accents and Poseidon Blue with Pale Brass accents.

The laptop is powered by the 10th generation of Intel Core processors with Iris Plus graphics card. The company claims that HP Spectre x360 delivers up to 22 hours of battery backup. It comes with a 4-cell, 60 Wh polymer battery along with 65W USB Type-C adapter. The latest laptop is loaded with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and 4×4 Gigabit concurrent networks for 122 per cent faster speeds compared to a Cat9 2×2 configuration.

For audio, it comes with Bang & Olufsen dual speakers along with HP Audio Boost 2.0. On the connectivity front, it supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C with Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s signalling rate, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge), 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge), 1 headphone/microphone combo and 1 media card reader.
