Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch Honor View 20 in India on January 29. Now, a report by news agency IANS claims the Honor View 20 price in India will be around Rs 40,000.
The Honor View 20 smartphone is the international variant of the Honor V20 that has been launched in China already. The smartphone will be an Amazon-exclusive in India and its pre-booking in India will start from January 15. The company is also offering free Honor Sport BT earphones to all customers who pre-book the device on Amazon.
TheHonor View 20 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080×2310 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 16.7 million colours. The phone offers a screen-to-body ratio of 91.82 percent and a Pixel density of 382 ppi. It is powered by Kirin 980 processor with 720 MHz ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It features a circular fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Honor phone comes in three configurations – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. It does not support microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Honor View 20 will run on Android 9.0 Pie based Magic UI 2.0.1 out of the box and it will be fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W (4.5V-5A) fast charging. It also features a circular fingerprint sensor at the rear.
The Honor View 20 sports a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 960fps slow-motion video recording support, autofocus, AI HDR, and LED flash support. There’s a secondary 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor for 3D applications and mapping of objects. The phone features an AI-powered 25-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 Aperture and fixed focus support. The front camera has a diameter of 4.5mm and is placed under the display at the top-left corner.
